GOODBYE TO THE BOHO INDIGO KIT

Stampin' Up! introduced kits to their product line a few years ago and they are perfect for the beginner stamper all the way up to the avid stamper. Everything you need is in this kit, but feel free to add sentiments and things from other Stampin' Up! products. When I saw this Boho Indigo kit in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, I had to have it! I am so glad I purchased it. Here are a few cards I made with the kit (along with a few extra greetings from other Stampin' Up! stamp sets):

Here I used the embossed cream paper from the Boho Indigo Kit for a bit more interest. I layered that onto Night of Navy card stock and then onto a Very Vanilla card stock card base. The ribbon at the bottom of the card is so cute. I has frayed edges. I chose it as a background for my sentiment. This kit comes with a stamp set and dies to match. I used one of the sentiments and one of the stamps and die cut it (the vase). I colored one of the small felt flowers that come with the kit with a Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blend. The Night of Navy and silver foil leaves were cut using a die from the kit as well. The three cute flowers coming from the vase are stamped in Night of Navy and cut out with on of the kit's dies. This is such a fun card! You could change up the sentiment to make it for whatever occasion you would like!

Do you LOVE this paper??!!! The Designer Series paper in this kit is amazing! I loved each and every pattern. Here I used a technique to show both sides of one of the papers. I cut a slit down the middle of the DSP and then hand folded each side back. You will have to use a glue dot to make them stay. The DSP is layered onto Night of Navy and then a Very Vanilla card stock card base. I wrapped the ribbon around the first two layers and its GOLD! So beautiful and goes so well with the die cuts that come pre-cut. The sentiment is from the stamp set in this kit and I colored one of the little felt flowers and added it with two more. They have little beads in the middl! So BOHO! Seriously what I did with the DSP is what added the interest to this card. AND I could NOT stop! I wanted to use all of the different elements of this kit!

Okay, with this card I wanted to take advantage of the gold in the pre-cut dies in the shapes of tropical plants! Just so much fun! I used a piece of the kit's DSP and I layered this onto a piece of gold foil and then onto a Night of Navy card base. I used the die cuts from the kit to make the vases and I used gold foil for them as well. I needed something to put them on (a shelf per say) so I used the embossed cream paper from the kit and added a strip of gold foil. I stamped the sentiment on one of the pre-cut labels from the kit. This card was for a former co-worker who I miss terribly.

When you offset your layers it creates a lot of amazing interest to your card. I layered Boho Indigo DSP onto Balmy Blue card stock and then onto a Misty Moonlight card base. The gold flowers are pre-cut dies and the little felt flowers make their appearance again. The sentiment is from the Boho Indigo stamp set and the ribbon is also from the kit. Love that gold! That DSP though! So beautiful!

Here is a list of the items I used to create these cards. Really, I made like 4 more and I have enough product to make 25+ more! Stampin' Up!'s kits are so much fun and they make beautiful cards no matter your experience.
