Hand-Penned Suite is So Sweet!

Flowers, Flowers, and more flowers! And then some glimmer!

Thank you for stopping by Purple Paisley Papers today! I hope you enjoy the card I made and find time to create on just like it or similar using your own color palette!

I love stripes with florals. Don't you? If the colors compliment each other it is a good way to add a pop to your design.

I used Whisper White for the card base, Hand-Penned DSP for the first Layer, Petal Pink card stock for the second layer and Hand-Penned DSP for the third layer. See dimensions below.

The Second layer was put through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine using the Penned Flower die set. I also cut out the outline of the flowers from the Penned Flower die set in Whisper White then cut out the detail of the flower in Soft Succulent Glimmer Vellum! Oooh La La! Glimmer!! (see it up close below) Oh how it twinkles. The sentiment is stamped in Soft Succulent ink and is from the Art Gallery stamp set and cut out with a die from the Potted Succulent die set. Whatever works, right? I placed the die cut flowers on the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Base of Card in Whisper White: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"

First Layer DSP: 5 1/4" x 4"

Second Layer (Petal Pink) 4 1/2" x 3 1/2"

Third Layer (DSP): 4" x 2 3/4"

TIP: The In-Color Glimmer Vellum, and any vellum for that matter, can be a bit see-through. Do not use glue, but just a bit of Stampin' Seal in a few places of whatever it is you are adhering to your card. Just enough so it stays on the card. Don't ever go overboard with adhesive on vellum.

THERE IS THAT OOOH LA LA!

DON'T FORGET TO DECORATE YOUR ENVELOPE!

I stamped the large watercolor flower in Petal Pink ink and the medium watercolor flower in Just Jade. These flowers are from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp Set. See the Suite below.
